Photobit Execs Make Space Hall of Fame

Five Photobit executives have been inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame for their work in commercializing image-sensing technology from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Pasadena-based Photobit has turned the camera-on-a-chip technology into a line of sensors used in laptop computers, personal digital assistants, video cell phones and other devices. The honorees are co-founders CEO Sabrina Kemeny, Chairman and Chief Scientist Eric Fossum and Deputy Product Division Manager Robert Nixon, along with two other company executives and two JPL researchers.
