Keeping kids safe from abductors and child molesters is a major concern for parents.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provides a variety of information to educate children and their parents.
The center’s Web site at https://www.missingkids.com offers safety tips about door-to-door solicitation by children, summertime, Halloween, holiday shopping, moving to a new neighborhood and preventing infant abductions. There’s even an Internet safety quiz for kids.
For additional information, contact the center at (800) THE-LOST, or (800) 843-5678.
