One Internet to Go, Please
Technology just got more compact. As the world’s first mobile phone designed to access the Internet, the Nokia 7110 has a large graphics display for easy viewing, text input and fast information. But it’s small and weighs less than 6 ounces.
The phone allows users to access weather reports, stock prices, e-mail, flight schedules, wireless banking, electronic commerce and CNN Mobile, a wireless news service. It also has a built-in dictionary and can learn new words from the user.
The memory can store up to 1,000 names in the phone book and two addresses for each contact, which begs the question: Who has that many friends?
A calendar can be viewed by day, week or month, and up to 660 calendar notes may be stored.
