VILLA PARK

The city has drafted an amendment that prohibits residents from feeding large numbers of birds. The change to the bird sanctuary ordinance is expected to be introduced during the next City Council meeting. The draft was requested in March when the council was trying to decide whether a homeowner who fed large numbers of wild ducks was creating a public nuisance. The April 27 meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at 17855 Santiago Blvd.
