VitalCom Inc.: The Tustin provider of medical products posted a net loss for the first quarter of $328,120, or 4 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $679,990, or 8 cents a share, for the first quarter of 1998. Revenue declined 6% to $4.8 million from $5.1 million. VitalCom also announced plans to buy back as many as 800,000 shares of its common stock.
