Interlink Announces Rise in 1st-Quarter Revenues

Interlink Electronics in Camarillo reported $6.5 million in revenues for the first quarter of 1999, up 26% from $5.2 million a year earlier.

Net income was $408,000 or 7 cents per diluted share, compared with $50,000 or 1 cent per diluted share for the first quarter of 1998.

E. Michael Thoben, chairman, CEO and president, said the company introduced two new products in the first quarter, FreedomWriter and e-Pad.

Interlink designs and manufactures computer-pointing devices. The company’s products include wireless hand-held remote controls with mouse capability, wireless keyboards, touch pads, pointing sticks and desktop PC pointing devices.

The company maintains offices in Camarillo and Tokyo.
