Latina Entrepreneurs’ Workshops

LatinaStyle magazine will hold a free business workshop for Latina entrepreneurs at the Queen Mary on May 8, as part of a national series that began last year.

The event, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will focus on the Internet, technology and how to prepare for the Y2K problem.

The series is sponsored by the Small Business Administration, Principal Financial Group, the Commerce Department’s Minority Business Development Agency and the Queen Mary. The series will also cover insurance, financing and professional services for small-business owners.
