Sexual assault victims will share their survival stories at 7 p.m. Thursday in Take Back the Violence, an event marking Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The community is also invited from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to view the Clothesline Project, during which survivors pin up T-shirts they’ve created with designs symbolizing the trials they’ve gone through. Both events are sponsored by the Community Services Programs Inc., Sexual Assault Victim Service/Prevention Program and UC Irvine. They will be held in the area between UCI’s Main Library and Center for Women and Gender Education. Information: (949) 752-1971.
