The Aliso Viejo developer and marketer of software products reported a first-quarter net loss of $692,000, or 5 cents a share, contrasted with net income of $113,000, or 1 cent a share, a year ago, as the company raised marketing and sales expenditures. Revenue declined 12% to $2.9 million, from $3.3 million.
