* Hansen Natural Corp., which markets and distributes Hansen Natural beverages, reported record second-quarter net income of $1.4 million, or 14 cents a share, on sales of $19.1 million. That compares with a ’98 second-quarter net income of $1 million, or 10 cents, on sales of $14 million for the Corona-based company.

* Suiza Foods Corp. of Dallas, the largest U.S. dairy processor and distributor, combined its Southland operations with those of Dairy Farmers of America in a joint venture to raise productivity and cut costs. The venture, 75%-owned by Suiza, will have annual revenue of about $270 million. It will include a Suiza location in Riverside and one facility co-owned by DFA in South Gate.

* HEICO Corp., a Florida-based aerospace parts supplier, said it has acquired Corona-based Thermal Structures Inc. and its Quality Honeycomb Inc. subsidiary for $29 million in cash and the assumption of $4 million of debt. Privately held Thermal makes thermal insulation products and related components, primarily for aerospace and defense uses.
