More than 70,000 people are expected to attend the 51st annual Corn Festival this weekend. Activities begin 5:30 p.m. Friday, when the community gathers to get its first taste of sweet corn. The event, sponsored by the La Habra host Lions, will be held at El Centro Lions Park, off North Cypress Street. The festival--which includes a parade at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, games and food--ends Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Information: (562) 905-9700.
