The Costa Mesa company, which sells specialty tools and materials to contractors, posted a net income of $3 million, or 27 cents a share, for the first quarter ended June 26, 15% higher than the $2.6 million, or 23 cents a share, reported a year ago. Revenue increased 17% to $80.5 million.
