Power-One Inc. to Offer 6.5 Million Stock Shares

Power-One Inc. in Camarillo, which manufactures power supplies for electronic equipment manufacturers in the United States and Europe, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an underwritten public offering of 6.5 million shares of its common stock.

Of these shares, 4 million are being sold by the company and 2.5 million are being offered by existing stockholders. Proceeds to the company from the offering will be used to repay approximately $45.7 million of debt and for general corporate purposes.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective.

The Power-One Group has approximately 3,000 employees with manufacturing operations in seven countries.
