The Sparks opened the season June 10 at the Great Western Forum with a 100-78 victory over Sacramento, beat them again June 27 at Sacramento, then lost July 9 at the Forum, 77-72. As for their chances of beating Sacramento on the road after having played Monday night, the Sparks are 5-0 on the second day of back-to-back games.
