SAN CLEMENTE
A sewage spill has caused a beach closure 1,000 feet north and 1,000 feet south of the San Clemente Pier. The Orange County Health Care Agency has banned swimming and surfing until water quality levels become acceptable. The spill was the result of a sewage pump station failure on Monday.
