VPTV, community access Channel 3, plans to offer free classes on television production.

VPTV board member Teri Elmendorf said that the classes will begin once there is sufficient community interest, and they will probably run six to 10 weeks. The classes will cover everything from learning to use equipment to writing scripts. VPTV board members hope the classes will encourage more residents to become involved in local programming.
