Litton Names VP of Intelligence for Information Systems Group

* Litton Industries Inc. said R. Evans Hineman, head of Litton’s TASC Inc. subsidiary, has been named group vice president for intelligence of Litton’s Information Systems Group and will be responsible for overseeing the Woodland Hills-based defense contractor’s business activities with the intelligence community.

Litton promoted James H. Frey, former vice president of strategic business development, to succeed Hineman as president of TASC.

* Ameron International Corp., a Pasadena-based maker of precision products for the construction, industrial and chemical markets, announced several changes in its global coatings business:

Gerald Beeler has been named group president of Ameron’s Coatings Group and will be in charge of its U.S. and European protective coatings division. He will report to Ameron Chairman and Chief Executive James Marlen.

Reporting to Beeler will be: Randy Roth, vice president of sales; Stephen Dickey, vice president of strategic planning and marketing; Richard Von Hor, vice president of operations and distribution; Christine Stanley, vice president of technology; Michael Sloan, vice president of international operations; Jay Herpel, director of international sales; and Thomas Brinkman, director of finance.

* Los Angeles-based global executive search firm Korn/Ferry International has appointed Shayne Lightner managing director of its Los Angeles office. He is a member of the firm’s global entertainment and media practice.

* Lowe Enterprises Inc., a Los Angeles-based real estate development, investment and management firm, has named Bleecker P. Seaman executive vice president and chief operating officer of its subsidiary Lowe Enterprises Investment Management Inc. He succeeds Mark Schaffer, who has retired.

* Eric Olofson has been named senior vice president and managing director of Cushman Realty Corp.’s West Los Angeles office.

* News Corp., the giant media conglomerate owned by Rupert Murdoch, named Roger Fishman executive vice president of marketing. He reports to News Corp. President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Chernin and is based in Los Angeles.

* Capital Business Credit has named Steven A. Curtis senior vice president and regional manager of asset-based lending for its Los Angeles office, responsible for all points west of the Mississippi. He recently served as senior credit officer of Wells Fargo & Co.’s commercial finance division. Capital Business Credit is a division of Union Planters Bank.
