Iglesias’ Single Shoots to the Top

Share

Latin music star Enrique Iglesias’ first English-language single, “Bailamos,” started getting Latin radio airplay in a bootleg version in April, officially came out on the “Wild Wild West” soundtrack in June, and is included in an Iglesias anthology from his former label Fonovisa that has topped the Latin chart for four weeks. Now it’s finally been released as a commercial single, and it went straight to the top of the Southern California chart, settling for No. 3 nationally. If you want a complete collection, wait for Iglesias’ Interscope debut album in November--the song might be included on that record as well.
