ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

ANAHEIM

* Riverside and Orange freeways: Report of a man in a dark brown suit standing near the southbound Orange Freeway at 10:11 a.m. Friday.

BREA

* Civic Center Circle: A grand theft was reported at the Civic Center at 10:16 p.m Thursday.

* East Birch Street: Vandalism was reported in the 1700 block at 5:47 p.m. Thursday.

BUENA PARK

* Riverside Freeway at Beach Boulevard: Report of a traffic crash with minor injuries in eastbound lanes 3:36 p.m. Friday.

CYPRESS

* Newman Street: A burglary was reported in the 5000 block at 7:17 a.m. Sunday. Antiques and jewelry valued at $1,000 were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.

DANA POINT

* El Encanto Avenue: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 8:59 p.m. Thursday.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: A burglary was reported in the 1000 block at 2:26 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: A Portland, Ore., man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in the 30900 block at 1:35 a.m. Friday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* White Oaks Drive: Gun shots were heard in the 26000 block at 12:54 p.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Alicia Parkway: A disturbance was reported in the 27000 block at 12:29 p.m. Thursday.

* Bearbrand Road: A suspicious vehicle was spotted at 2:16 a.m. Thursday.

LAKE FOREST

* Forestwood: Shots were heard in the 25000 block at 6:20 p.m. Thursday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Aldea Court: Sometime between 4:30 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 25000 block. They observed a man loading articles into the trunk of his car. As they approached, he fled on foot. Police found the items had just been stolen from a nearby garage; they were returned to the owner. The man was later identified through his vehicle and witnesses and an arrest warrant was issued for burglary.

ORANGE

* Santa Ana and Garden Grove freeways: Two vehicles collided on the transition road from southbound Santa Ana Freeway to the eastbound Garden Grove Freeway at 9:46 a.m. Friday. There were no injuries.

PLACENTIA

* Bradford Avenue: A possible counterfeit $20 bill used at a gas station in the 100 block was reported at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida San Fernando: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 2:14 p.m. Thursday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Calle Resplendor: A robbery alarm in the 30000 block reported at 6:56 p.m. Thursday.

SEAL BEACH

* San Diego Freeway at Seal Beach Boulevard: Report of a 4 x 4 piece of wood in the middle lane of the freeway at 10:07 a.m. Friday.

YORBA LINDA

* Imperial Highway and Main Street: A traffic accident which resulted in an injury was reported at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Aliso Creek Road at Eastwing: Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

* Willowood: A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block at 12:24 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports over the weekend: Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Woods, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
