Real estate executive Don Saltarelli was elected last week to a one-year term as president of the Orange County Fair Board. Saltarelli, an Orange resident, was appointed to the board in 1997. He is president of Tustin-based Century 21 Saltarelli Realty and has served on the Orange County Board of Supervisors and the Tustin City Council.
Saltarelli, who served as vice president this year, succeeds Huntington Beach resident Emily Sanford. Jim Barich was elected last week to serve as the board’s vice president. Barich is senior vice president of public affairs for Hollywood Race Track in Inglewood. Board members serve four-year terms without pay. They are responsible for setting policy for the Fair and Exposition Center.
