GARDEN GROVE

The Garden Grove Unified School District announced its new principal assignments. Jeanne Clifford moves to Lawrence Elementary from Patton Elementary. She follows Gail Sugamura, who takes over as principal of Northcutt Elementary, succeeding Judi Ketiges, who begins duties as principal of Enders Elementary. Enders’ former principal, Barbara Gibbons, will run Patton Elementary.

Sue Daily leaves Riverdale Elementary for Stanford Elementary, following Barbara Stokke, the new principal of Woodbury Elementary. Woodbury’s former principal, Linda Tenno, moves to Riverdale Elementary. Sara Wescott fills the principal vacancy at Stanley Elementary. She comes to the Garden Grove district from the Capistrano Unified School District and succeeds Judy Roseberry, who retired in June after 39 years in the district.

At Excelsior Elementary School, the new principal is Donald Terreri, who was promoted after serving as administrative assistant at Patton Elementary. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Robert Gresham, who served in the school district for 37 years. Fall classes begin Sept. 9.
