Volunteers, members and friends of the Florence Sylvester Memorial Senior Center on Thursday will celebrate the August birthdays of seniors who are members of the center. All local seniors are invited to join the party. The monthly event draws more than 130 revelers, said Martin W. Hoffman, the center’s director.
Volunteers will serve punch and homemade cake donated by the Women’s Charity League, while singers and accordion players entertain the guests. The party is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the center, 23721 Moulton Parkway. Information: (949) 380-0155.
