Blue Blood Coursing Toward Malibu
Actress Catherine Oxenberg, who married actor Casper Van Dien in May, has listed her Beverly Hills home at about $1.3 million. The couple plans to move to Malibu.
Oxenberg, 37, is the daughter of Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. The actress gained acting fame on the series “Dynasty” (1980-89). Later, she starred in two TV movies as the late Princess Diana. Van Dien, 30, co-starred in “Starship Troopers” (1997) and starred in “Tarzan and the Lost City” (1998).
The newlyweds co-star with Michael York in the movie “The Omega Code,” due out in October. It will later be shown on Trinity Broadcasting Network.
“I never thought I’d love anyone enough to leave my house, but I do, so I’m out,” Oxenberg said by phone. “I’ve done quite a bit of work to it.” She has owned the home for 10 years.
Built in 1923, the three-bedroom, 1,600-square-foot house behind gates has 20-foot-high ceilings and a sun room.

Lane Smith, who starred as Perry White in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” (1993-97) and portrayed Richard Nixon in the TV movie “The Final Days” (1989), has purchased a home in the Patrician Estates area of Northridge.
Smith, who is about 60, also appeared in the HBO miniseries “From the Earth to the Moon” (1998). He has co-starred in more than 25 miniseries and movies of the week and has appeared in a number of feature films, including “Why Do Fools Fall in Love?” (1998), starring Halle Berry.
He bought a five-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot house for just less than $600,000. He recently sold his Studio City house for about $500,000. His new home has a pool, waterfall, gazebo and pool house.

Makeup artist Michael Maron has purchased a four-bedroom home in the Hollywood foothills for just under $1 million.
Maron, 50, wrote the bestseller “Makeover Magic,” featuring dozens of stars with and without makeup. He has been a makeup consultant for the Miss Universe Pageant and is featured on QVC with his Mojave Magic Multipurpose Powder.
His new home has three bedrooms in about 3,000 square feet. Built in 1988, the house is being remodeled with the help of designer Ron Meyers.
