Students returning to school are invited to spend their afternoons at the Brea Community Center’s after-school program. The community center is offering free activities, such as indoor sports, arts and crafts, and cooking. The program, which starts Wednesday, runs from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration is $5 and the program is available to students in first through 12th grade.
The Homework Club, for students in first through fifth grade, will meet from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tutoring for Teens, for students in sixth through 12th grade, meets from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The cost for the programs is $5 per session or $30 for 10 sessions. Information: (714) 990-7179.
