Nation IN BRIEF / FLORIDA : Cocaine Found at Miami Airport
U.S. Customs Service inspectors at Miami International Airport found more than a ton of cocaine concealed inside a shipment of fresh seafood from South America and suspect someone working at the airport was involved, authorities said. Inspectors X-rayed a shipment of fresh grouper, tuna fillet and eel and found 2,720 pounds of cocaine concealed among the fish. Because no one turned up to claim the shipment, Customs officials said they believe someone at the airport tipped off the intended recipient about the discovery.
