Beckman Coulter Wins VA Contract

Medical instruments maker Beckman Coulter Inc. said Wednesday that it has received a five-year contract worth about $100 million from the Department of Veterans Affairs for in-vitro diagnostics products and services.
The company said in a press release that the contract, which runs through September 2004, gives it the ability to procure future business from regions that represent the Department of Defense and individual veterans integrated service networks.
