Romania Hires Printrak for Fingerprint System

Printrak International Inc. said Thursday that it received a contract valued at more than $4 million from Romania’s Ministry of Interior to expand the capacity of the ministry’s automated fingerprint identification system.

Anaheim-based Printrak said the contract also involves providing equipment for six additional cities that will be networked to the central site in Bucharest.
