Home-Buying Course Offered by Agency

The Area Housing Authority and Pacific Partners Mortgaging Corp. are sponsoring a home-buying course Saturday to help low- to moderate-income families buy houses.
The county housing authority sponsors a “Fresh Rate” program, which assists moderate-income families with down payments. The mortgage company is an approved lender for Thousand Oaks’ Ownership Assistance Program.
The course will be held at the Area Housing Authority office in Newbury Park, 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
By completing the course, first-time home buyers may qualify for special loan programs. Reservations are required. Call 531-1818.
