Dense-Pac to Expand at Present Location

Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc., which plans to increase its staff by 60%, said Monday that it has leased additional space for a year to expand its facilities 75% to handle growing demand for its products.

The Garden Grove maker of high-density packaging said executives will reassess the company’s long-term facility needs next summer.

The additional space is needed to house the personnel and production-line expansion, said Ted Bruce, the company’s president. “We chose to expand the use of our existing leased facility because it presented the least number of distractions and economic hurdles in the short term.”
