Man Charged in Slaying

PHILADELPHIA —
A man was charged Monday with killing a prominent Philadelphia Daily News columnist after the suspect’s photo was shown on television and splashed across front pages.
Police received about 50 tips and arrested Javier Goode, 20, who lives near the store where W. Russell G. Byers was stabbed in the heart.
