Edison Realigns Management Staff

Rosemead-based Edison International and its utility Southern California Edison unveiled a major management realignment reflecting its change in focus from a regulated utility to a diversified electricity company. Edison International Chairman and Chief Executive John Bryson will take on the additional title of president while giving up his role as director, chairman and CEO of the utility. CFO Alan Fohrer and General Counsel Bryant Danner will continue their positions at Edison International, but will no longer hold these roles at the utility. Stephen Frank will add the positions of chairman and CEO of the utility to his current role as president.

Christine M. McCarthy has been named senior vice president and treasurer of Walt Disney Co. McCarthy, previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of Imperial Bancorp, succeeds Paul Saleh, who earlier was named chief financial officer of Walt Disney International.
