Procom Technology Sees Loss for Quarter

Procom Technology Inc., a data storage company based in Irvine, said it lost $1.6 million, or 14 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, contrasted with net income of $1.4 million, or 13 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 declined 38% to $18.9 million.

The company attributed the lower results to the elimination of nonstrategic product lines.
