Stocks Chart

The Ventura County Business section today debuts a new, expanded stocks chart that provides more information in an easier-to-read format.

The chart of biggest gainers and losers, renamed Weekly Regional Report, has been expanded from five companies in each category to 10. In addition, the chart now includes the 52-week high and low for these stocks.

The main chart now provides share prices as of market close Monday, instead of Friday.

To make it easier to track stocks, the chart has been expanded to include company ticker symbols and the exchange they are traded on. The new chart also adds the market capitalization (shares outstanding multiplied by share price) for each company.
