T.R. Funding, a Westlake Village investor, has purchased two Thousand Oaks office buildings with plans to renovate the properties and sell them, citing the high demand for office space in the city.
The company has purchased the 20,000-square-foot Parkwood Office Complex on Long Court from Padco Realty and the 10,000-square-foot Lombard Professional Plaza on Lombard Street from Rancho Professional, according to Tony Principe, executive vice president of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services, which handled the sale.
Both projects will have new landscaping and cosmetic improvements.
Many “firms desire to own their own space, but the product simply has not existed in Conejo Valley,” Principe said. “We’re trying to make it available.”
