Ice Dogs Defeat Manitoba, 3-1

In a hard-hitting game from the outset, the Ice Dogs defeated the Manitoba Moose, 3-1, before 3,076 at Long Beach on Sunday.
Claude Jutras scored the game-winning goal for the Ice Dogs at 4:21 of the third period.
Jim Montgomery opened up the scoring for Manitoba at 13:33 of the first period. The game was scoreless through the second period, but Scott Malone shot the puck passed Moose goalie Jason Elliot at 0:49 of the third period to put the Ice Dogs on the board.
