Sandpiper Networks Enters Into Online Ad Agreement

Sandpiper Networks in Thousand Oaks will provide Click Agents, a Delaware-based provider of Internet advertising solutions for ad agencies, with its Footprint content delivery service.

Launched last year, the Footprint service speeds Web site performance up to 10 times by distributing content from a worldwide network of more than 400 servers, putting Web content closer to the consumer and shortening the delivery path. Sandpiper has deployed Footprint servers in more than 20 networks worldwide.

Sandpiper also announced that it reached a new agreement with America Online, which calls for the Internet service provider to continue using the Footprint content delivery service.
