The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is offering several activities for children during the school holiday break. Programs include a holiday day camp, holiday total sports camp and extended hours for the city’s skate park. Day Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $25 per day or $90 per week. Sports camp hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $20 per day or $60 per week. The camps are held at McGaugh Elementary School at 1698 Bolsa Ave. The skate park is at Zoeter Park, adjacent to 12th Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Information: (562) 431-2527, Ext. 326.
