Lay Off Legoland!

I was disappointed in Margo Kaufman’s boredom at Legoland (“Blockbuster for Kids,” Weekend Escape, Dec. 12). I agree that Legoland is for young children, but wonder if she has any clue as to how much fun those engineers must have had dreaming up the figures. Did she see the alligator in the subway cutaway for New York City in Miniland? There was humor everywhere; you just had to have a certain amount of patience and tolerance for the unsophisticated fun children enjoy.
