Beckman Coulter Signs $70-Million Supply Deal

Beckman Coulter Inc., a Fullerton medical instruments maker, said Tuesday that it has renewed and expanded a contract to provide clinical diagnostic instruments for a group purchasing organization that represents more than 700 member hospitals.
Beckman said in a press release that the five-year contract with the Florham Park, N.J., organization should bring in an estimated $70 million in total revenue for the company.
Under the terms of the agreement, Beckman Coulter will provide instrumentation and supplies for every laboratory area, from hematology to supplies.
