A beginning course in tap and ballet will be held for children ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 on Fridays beginning Jan. 21. The class will cover the basic techniques and teach simple routines of tap and ballet dancing. Children should be dressed and prepared to dance for the first class. The course will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m. through Feb. 25 at the Pacific School of Ballet, 23482 Peralta Drive, Suite C, Laguna Hills. The fee is $35. Information: (949) 707-2600.
