GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS
* McLaughlin Engineering & Mining in Temecula was awarded a contract for $273,133 from Ventura County to restore the Sespe Creek bank in Fillmore. The project, near Old Telegraph and Goodenough roads, involves reconstruction of 450 feet of concrete rock riprap.
The project is scheduled to be completed March 17.
* DCA Drill & Construction in Camarillo was awarded a contract for $81,704.50 from Ventura County to repair the Beardsley Drop structure, including reconstruction of the side slopes, at the intersection of Beardsley and Wright roads in Camarillo.
The project, scheduled for completion March 3, will involve some interruption of traffic at the site.
