El Toro Majority

The bottom line of your Jan. 24 editorial, “The El Toro Impasse,” was that we began the El Toro debate hoping to have a community plan that reflected a consensus, and now several years later Orange County still seeks common ground. I seem to remember two separate elections in which the majority voted to support an airport. I believe people are becoming frustrated when the losers do not accept the verdict of the people but continue to plot new ways to overturn the results. It is time for anti-airport activists to accept the fact they are in the minority.
