Destroyer, Container Ship Collide; 1 Sailor Injured

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. —
A Navy destroyer and a larger merchant ship collided Friday in the Atlantic Ocean, leaving one sailor with a broken arm and damaging the bows of both ships.
The 563-foot Radford and the 657-foot container ship Saudi Riyadh bumped in the dark about 25 miles off Virginia Beach.
