Siripongs’ Art

Share

Re “A Rogues’ Gallery of Art on Display,” Feb. 1:

The Times gives over half a page to the art of killer Jaturun Siripongs and that a federal judge (not named) “halted” his Nov. 16 execution because his “civil rights were violated when Gov. Pete Wilson denied clemency.”

But no room in your story to identify, by name, the food store manager he strangled or the clerk he fatally stabbed in 1981. What about their civil rights to live and their families denied their love and companionship?
