A five-year lease agreement with Vic’s beach concession stand has been approved by the City Council to make it consistent with other concessionaires. The new agreement calls for the rent to be 10.5% of the first $100,000 of gross fast-food sales, 12.5% up to $200,000 and 14.5% for sales over $200,000.

The previous agreement with concessionaires Kenneth and Barbara Nitzkowski provided that they pay 12% for the first $100,000 of fast-food sales and 15% for all other sales more than $100,000. Located south of 1st Street on the strand, Vic’s has produced an average of $20,000 in annual revenue to the city.
