Free blood pressure checks will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to noon today at the Fullerton Certified Farmers’ Market. Informational material on health and well-being will also be available.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Fullerton School District’s Healthy Heart Week, a series of activities designed to increase students’ awareness of healthy eating and living. The farmers’ market is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woodcrest Park, at Orangethorpe and Richman avenues.
