* East Canfield Lane: Report of an automobile theft in the 1500 block at 2:42 p.m. Friday.

* Imperial Highway at Poplar Avenue: Report of a petty theft at 7:32 p.m. Sunday.

BUENA PARK

* Kingman Avenue: Three children, ages 7 to 12, reportedly threw rocks and dirt at a car in the 5800 block at 5:38 p.m. Sunday.

COSTA MESA

* Killybrooke Lane: Report of a house fire in the 3000 block at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters found occupants of the home burning trash in a fireplace. The neighbors thought the residents were out of town.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: Five male subjects forced a man into the bathroom at Cypress College; reported at 5:08 p.m. Feb. 3. The victim said the men pointed a gun at him and demanded money; when he told them he didn’t have any, they fled.

DANA POINT

* Warner Avenue: Someone smashed open a window and stole a computer video monitor but left the hard drive hanging outside the store in the 10900 block between 5:30 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8 a.m. Feb. 2.

FULLERTON

* Topaz Lane: Report of a stolen pickup in the 3300 block at 7:38 a.m. Thursday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Euclid Street at the Garden Grove Freeway: Police arrested three people at 9 p.m. Friday on narcotics violations. Curtis Hieu Tran, 44, of Arlington, Texas, was arrested on suspicion of transporting cocaine for sale; Dung Thanh Tang, 24, of Westminster was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale; and Minh Nhut Do Nguyen, 27, of Anaheim was in custody on marijuana violations.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Simmone Drive: A resident reported a smashed car window in the 16600 block at 7:55 a.m. Thursday.

IRVINE

* Greenfield: A car owner reported that license plates were stolen at 10:38 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* South Coast Highway: A backpack valued at $550 was stolen from a booth at Odessa’s restaurant in the 600 block Sunday while the owner was dancing.

* Andre Lane: Two ceramic lions valued at $350 each were reported stolen from a backyard at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

* Los Coyote Creek: Three men had their racing bicycles stolen at knifepoint near Katella Avenue at 8:17 p.m. Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* MacArthur Boulevard at Benita Canyon Drive: A Chihuahua died Monday at 12:10 p.m. after the car it was riding in ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. Police said the unrestrained dog was sitting in the passenger seat and was hit by an air bag that deployed on impact. The dog was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and dog owner was treated for minor injuries.

ORANGE

* West Wilson Avenue: Report of lewd and lascivious conduct in an apartment building in the 200 block at 10:14 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* South Rose Drive: Report of a credit card forgery in the 200 block at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

* Seal Beach Boulevard: Property was reported stolen from the glove compartment of a pickup after its owner had some work done at a gas station. Reported at 12:19 p.m. Saturday.
