Nine monsignors were among those on hand Tuesday for the groundbreaking of an educational center at St. Bonaventure High School.

The $2-million educational center will include five classrooms, an administrative complex, a centralized business complex, computer room and a multipurpose media room, said Georgene Boyd, fund-raising chairwoman for the expansion project.

Founded in 1963, St. Bonaventure High School opened with an enrollment of 70 students and has grown to an enrollment of 650 students and 3,600 alumni.
