Oregon forward Donte Quinine has quit the team, becoming the second player in nine days to leave.

Quinine, a 6-foot-6 junior from Rowland High School in Rowland Heights, averaged 7.3 minutes and 1.3 points a game. Quinine was the team’s defensive player of the year last season.

The departure comes after junior Mike McShane quit the team Feb. 8, frustrated over his lack of playing time and claiming Coach Ernie Kent had “quit” on him.
