ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Premier Laser Systems Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of medical and dental lasers posted a net loss of $11.6 million, or 74 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, which included $7.4 million in reserves set aside to settle shareholder lawsuits filed last year. The company lost $1.7 million, or 14 cents a share, in the third quarter a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 declined 3% to $3.5 million from $3.6 million.
